Thornwood - Self Catering - Hluhluwe

Thornwood is an opulent personal retreat within Weavers Nature Park , 150 hectares of unspoiled natural bush offering self guided walking trails amongst an plenty of birdlife and game. The park is situated in the heart of Southern Maputaland and is a neighbour to the famous Phinda Nature Reserve and The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, now a world heritage site. Thornwood offers luxury accommodation for 6-8 people in a self-catering, fully serviced, high-class lodge.

Thornwood is a unique blend of timber frame units, blending flawlessly into the adjacent bush, and superior comfort, second only to the beauty Mother Nature has to offer.

The Main Unit consists of a spacious lounge and entertainment area with a decked pool, satellite tv, pool table and a study area.

Thornwood has a large fitted kitchen with all the modern day appliances. The kitchen leads out onto a large fire pit deck which is perfect for braais and fireside meetings, under spectacular night skies unique to Africa .

Included in the main unit are 2 full en suite bedrooms which have outdoor showers and bath tubs that open out to the African bush.

Tamboti and Ant Hill
These 2 separate bedroom units offer privacy under towering indigenous trees and are both linked to the main area by short walkways.

Rates
In low season R400,00 per person per night with a minimum of R1200,00 per night.
In high season R500,00 per person per night with a minimum of R1500,00 per night.
