Hotel Accommodation in Mpumalanga

Visiting “The place where the sun rises,” Mpumalanga holiday accommodation, hotel to B&B, will mean that you wake up to a day filled with adventure and opportunity, every day. To the north of KwaZulu Natal, the Mpumalanga province of South Africa shares borders with Swaziland and Mozambique. The capital of Mpumalanga province is Nelspruit.

The geography of the province makes for a variety of climates and landscapes as can be seen on a map of Mpumalanga. The province includes the Lowveld, Drakensberg Escarpment and the Highveld. The Lowveld is a subtropical region, with the climate influenced by the Indian Ocean's warm current, but the Highveld area is cooler, at an altitude of around 2000m above sea level. The dramatic Drakensberg Escarpment has the highest rainfall of the region which gets most of its rain during the summer months.

If you are after a truly African experience, Mpumalanga is a great place to visit. Entry into the Great Limpopo Transfrontier park is tantamount to entering a world of African wildlife usually only seen on nature documentaries. Mpumalanga offers unforgettable experiences to holiday makers from around the world
