Face Adrenalin was established in 1989 with the inception of Kiwi Extreme at the Gourits River Bridge. Since our early beginnings Face Adrenalin has taken the Bungy jumping world by storm, introducing this extreme sport to the man-on-the-street and developing it as one of the safest adventure activities worldwide. 1997 caused great excitement in the Bungy jumping fraternity worldwide with the opening of the Bloukrans Bungy Jump. Bloukrans is officially recognized by Guinness World Records as being the World's Highest Commercial Bungy Jump at a whooping 216 m high! A proud record for South Africa and particularly, the Garden Route.

• All our products are designed with your safety as our highest priority. All equipment conforms to international standards and highly trained and experienced staff ensures that you get the experience of a lifetime.
• No previous experience is necessary to take part in any of the activities.
• Certain medical conditions such as pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart conditions, neurological disorders, epilepsy, acute or chronic knee or back injuries, osteoporosis and any skeletal conditions might exclude some individuals from bungy jumping.
• Should you suffer from any medical conditions, a letter from your Doctor is required stating you are allowed to jump. The original letter needs to be handed in and it must be signed within 30 days prior of participating in any of the activities.
• Operating daily from 09h00 to 17h00 weather permitting
• All jumpers are required to sign an indemnity form
• There is no maximum age

  The 65-meter high Gourits Bridge , the Original African Bungy Site, offers Bungy Jumping and Bridge Swinging: there is something for everyone to enjoy.

  The Bloukrans Bridge , at 216 meters high, offers Bungy jumping, the 200 m Flying Fox, winch rides and Bridge Walking tours.

  BLOUKRANS BRIDGE - 216 m

  Situated along the Garden Route at the Tsitsikamma Forest Village Market, just 40km east of Plettenberg Bay along the N2 Highway you will find the highest single span arch bridge in the world. You can experience the thrill for yourself in one of four ways, designed to suit anyone's needs

  1. Bungy Jumping

  This is the ultimate thrill! Recognised by the Guinness World Records as the highest commercially operated Bungy Jump in the world. We secure you in a full body harness and proceed to walk along a specially designed catwalk (216m long), which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will then lead you to the top of the arch - 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. Here you will be given final instructions by highly experienced staff, a countdown and off you go! Bloukrans utilizes pendulum bungy technology ensuring you the smoothest, most comfortable bungy jump possible.

  2. Flying Fox

  This is our NEWEST adventure at Bloukrans! A 200 m cable slide ("foofie slide" for our South Africans!) out onto the archway of the bridge! The quickest way to get to your bungy jump destination. But if the bungy is not for you - this is a great alternative adrenalin rush all on its own. This is a great option for groups and families.

  3. "Double Rush" Adventure Combo

  This is a combination of both the Flying Fox and the Bungy Jump - try your hand at two of the most exciting adventures on the Garden Route!

  4. Walking Tours

  See one of Africa 's marvels up close. Bloukrans is the highest and largest bridge in Africa ; the third highest in the world and the largest single span arch bridge in the world. Come and learn about the incredible engineering feats that went into building this amazing bridge. Walk along a spectacular and specially designed catwalk to the top of the arch from where you look out over the Gorge to the mountains and the sea in the distance. Informative guides will introduce you to the enchantment of this special place. This is the perfect way to watch the live "bungy show" up close and personal and is an ideal alternative to jumping off!

  GOURITS BRIDGE - 65 m

  35 Kilometres to the west of Mossel Bay along the N2 national road is the historical Gourits River Bridge . This is where African Bungy Jumping began - we have not looked back since that day!

  On offer, we have two different products to whet your appetites:

  1. Gourits Bungy

  You exit the platform over 65m of pure adrenalin, attached to state of the art equipment. You feel the forces of gravity pulling you closer and closer to the riverbed below before the Bungy Cord exerts its power and decelerates your fall. Up you go again, and down gravity brings you. Get to know the forces of nature up close and personal. Take a step back and smile, you have done it!

  Gourits is the perfect playground and a great introduction to bungy jumping. Try your hand here first and then come for the BIG one!

  2. Gourits Bridge Swing

  Just as you thought the ultimate is done, Gourits swing looms ahead of you. This is the ultimate in flying without wings. Leap, fall, jump or dive off the platform while being securely attached to the opposite bridge - the ultimate swing. Feel the rush of the air past your face as you swing over the riverbed below, underneath the bridge to the other side. Do it in tandem to get closer to that other person in your life than ever before. Alone or together, you can do it!

  This is great for those who don't like to jump head first - here you don't hang upside down but go off feet first ensuring that you are in an upright position at all times.

  This is a great activity for teambuilding and incentives. Large groups easily catered for.
